Much business theater was done in the late 1980s and 1990s. This concept for Pillsbury was built at some level, but I only have these sketches. The quality of the work that was often done before the days of digital design allowed for a client's imagination to be part of the process. Despite being a pioneer in the digital realm, I still enjoy drawings like these the most. There is an expression in hand drawings that is impossible with computers...and I still draw for that reason.
